Sketchbook Portrait #15
Sketchbook Portrait #15 is another portrait/figure study in oil done by Joe Enns in his sketchbook. Oil studies done in a sketchbook are a fun way to do quick paintings to experiment. Joe has found that some of his best paintings are ones that were completed the quickest. They tend to be more expressive and have stronger brush strokes and colours. This painting was done at Joe's studio next to the ocean in Nanoose Bay, BC.
