NO LINES IN NATURE
No Lines in Nature is a debut poetry collection rooted in the vivid landscapes of British Columbia. From the Fraser River to Vancouver Island, these poems connect patterns of impressions that encompass a life. Reviewed in The British Columbian Review.
About Joe Enns
Self-taught oil portrait artist working from Vancouver Island, BC. Since 2014, I've specialized in building portraits through layers of oil and wax applied with a palette knife - a slow, deliberate process that can take weeks to months per painting.
My work has been exhibited across British Columbia, including the Sooke Fine Arts Show (2024, 2025). During COVID-19, I painted a face a week while public faces disappeared behind masks.
Commission inquiries welcome.
