Studio Updates: Summer & Fall 2025

Working full-time as an aquatic biologist doesn't leave a ton of time for creative work, but I'm still finding ways to fit in portrait painting and writing. This summer/fall, I completed a new oil portrait, self-published my first poetry collection, and had work selected for the Sooke Fine Arts Show. It's always a tough balance between paying bills and having creative time.
